Inaugural Post

I've always wondered why people felt compelled to share their thoughts with the rest of the world through blogging. I don't know what your reason is, but mine is that for the past two weeks I have been on vocal rest, and I have at least one more week to go. (Back story: I recently developed a vocal node, which is essentially a small callous on the vocal chord - not so great for a vocal performance major.) I don't know fluent sign language, and I can only scribble so much before I get writer's cramp, so I thought blogging might be a nice way to let the world know what I think.

I have exactly 7 days left before my next otolaryngology appointment.
